definition of Anam cara is "Soul Friend" = Anam meaning
“soul” and Cara meaning “friend.
The above is a definition of Anam Cara but it is not the living experience called The Anam Cara Experience.
The
definition of Anam cara will give you a surface understanding but
will not make you feel more alive. The definition will not satisfy
the spiritual hunger that deep friendship with your soul
guarantees.
Your
soul is not a thing. It is the learned ability in HOW
TO connect directly to the
“Source
Of Unconditional
Love”
A
definition of Anam cara will not take you across the bridge between
the two worlds. This learned ability is the bridge between the
mystery of being human and the connection to a source that is the
radiant source of all wisdom. This transforming experience is the
invitation on offer from a true soul friend.
If
more information solved the problems of everyday life then we as
individuals should be the happiest people ever. Yet this does not
seem to be the case. What we need is not more information but more
meaning, more direct experience to satisfy the hunger to belong and
to be loved.
What will give us this real sense of meaning is the language of the soul. This is a language that connects directly to the
“Source Of Unconditional Love”
In
the Celtic vision of life this is called geancannach, meaning Love
Talk. Everyone can speak it but they have been taught that such a
language is dangerous. It is dangerous in the sense that it
transforms the heart and the way one sees the world. It is a language that bards, storytellers, wisdom teachers of all time and all traditions have spoken. It is a language that will take you on a magical journey beyond your wildest imagination. This is why it is called transformational. It transforms definition into the magic of what it means to be alive
The direct connection to the “Source Of Unconditional Love” is the spiritual hunger of our time. It has been the spiritual hunger of all times. This hunger is not satisfied by more information but by more meaning.

the invitation to the true meaning of soul friendship.
We are all called to be friends to ourselves, to our families, our community and ultimately, our world. As Marianne Williamson tells us in her famous quote “Our Greatest Fear”
“Your
playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened
about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We
are meant to shine, as children do. – From Return to Love.”
The poet and storyteller David Whyte says: -
"Anyone that does not bring you alive is too small for you.”
The
radiant source of wisdom that is within you does not play small. It
is continuously expansive. It is the call of your soul to engage
with a love talk that then becomes love in action. Why not except
